Enjoy your shore excursions from your cruise ship docked at the port of Piraeus with an English-speaking driver in an air-conditioned vehicle and a selected private tour of the best of Athens.

ITINERARY

• We will meet you just outside the cruise terminal area in Piraeus port, from where we start our drive throughout the picturesque ports of Marina Zea, Kastela, and Mikrolimano.

• (30 to 45 min. drive to Athens)

• Arriving to Acropolis hill, visit the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike, theatre of Dionysus and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

The whole visit usually takes around 2 hours.

• Temple or Zeus is our next stop (about 15-min visit).

• the Panathenaic (old Olympic) Stadium (short stop)

• then admiring the guards changing at the unknown soldier tomb (about 15 minutes) .

• We continue our tour passing by the Trilogy of Athina (University, Library and Academy of Athens) .

• heading to the highest point of the city, Lycabettus Hill, to enjoy the stunning view from the …. Balcony…!

• the Ancient Agora is the next archeological site is which includes the Stoa of Attalos and the Temple of Hephaestus (approximately 60 minutes). you 

• lunch stop for about 1 hour at a place that will be recommended from us, otherwise you choose yours.

•The Acropolis Museum is the last stop of your excursion, where you will spend about an hour before we drive you back to the ship. (approximately 30 minutes’ drive).

NOTES

Due to unforeseen circumstances (traffic, weather conditions, etc.), and since this is a private tour and depends on your needs, this itinerary and the allocated visiting times to the sights could be modified to your best interest, always in discussion with your driver, as long as the duration of the tour remains the same.
